Wife Thingz

WIVES SUBMIT!!! People shout that all the time at women who have husbands. To be honest, a lot of die hard christian men shout this at their wives all the time and throw the scripture at them. To all who through that phrase at wives, do you have the same definition and purpose of submit as the Word of God? Wives, are we submitting the right way? Husbands, are you asking your wives to submit the right way? I know what you are thinking. “Submission means I control everything because I’m the head.” “I give my husband control over me because the bible says he is the head.” Can we delve deeper into this? Let’s go!

Let’s look at the scripture first.

Ephesians 5:22-24; 33 “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.”

Colossians 3:18 “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.”

You see the scriptures right? Okay let’s delve into the word “submit”.

Submit: to place oneself in order, to yield willingly, to cooperate with a structure or mission

  1. Willing Alignment– submission is a choice to align with your husbands leadership. You are not submitting because of perfection, but because GOD IS FAITHFUL.
  2. Order Not Value– It is function not worth. Just like Jesus submits to the Father yet they are equal in divinity. SUBMISSION= DIVINE ORDER FOR UNITY
  3. Strength Under Control– Submission is meekness NOT weakness. A submitting wife is not quiet because she is small, but because she’s INTENTIONAL.
  4. Mutuality in Context(verse. 21)- It is mutual honor, sacrificial love, and shared purpose. Walk WITH your husband NOT BEHIND HIM.

In verse 33 the word “respect” is placed there. What does respect mean? It means to honor, treat as significant, and regard with care. So what does this mean exactly? Let me tell you. It means treat him like he is important. That means you are to choose words, tone, and posture that AFFIRMS his significance even in disagreement (Proverbs 18:21). It means speaking respectfully especially when things are tense as that is when reverence REALLY shows up. At those moments you are to correct without belittling, disagree without contempt, and express without attacking. Respect is guarding his dignity publicly and privately. Respect is trusting his desire to do well. Acknowledge your husband’s efforts not just his outcomes. Acknowledge his growth, not just his gaps. Acknowledge his intentions EVEN WHEN execution falls short. This will create the space for redemption.

Respect also creates EMOTIONAL SAFETY. This helps him to lead without defensiveness, listen without shutting down, and love more freely. In our day to day lives as wives it looks like speaking about him with honor, not tearing him down to others, letting him know you see his value, allowing him space to lead without micromanaging, choosing admiration over nagging (which can be hard for some), and protecting his name even when correcting him.

Let me tell you what reverence is NOT. It is NOT being afraid to speak your truth. It is NOT idolizing or excusing sinful behavior. It is NOT silencing your needs or emotions. It is NOT allowing disrespect or abuse slide. It is DEFINITELY NOT making yourself small so he can feel big. God NEVER asks a wife to abandon wisdom, discernment, or dignity.

There it is in a nutshell. Let me make something clear. I am talking to all wives INCLUDING myself. I have only been married for 2.5 years, HOWEVER God began dealing with ME and how I was as a wife at first. THE DIFFERENCE? I began to look at ME. Not very many women do that today in current 2025. A lot of women struggle with accountability (that is another subject for another post later on). As for me? I began changing things that did not necessarily make me a bad wife but there were things I weren’t doing the bible way. I had the wrong idea of submission the ENTIRE TIME. Can I tell on myself? I certainly can. I needed a heavy renewal of my mind on this and with the Lord’s help. I was successful. Now I press EVERY DAY toward the mark. I do my best to make sure that I am doing the things that are posted right here on this site. These are the things of a wife. God bless.

Breeding Anxiety

Breeding Anxiety

Have you ever thought to yourself, “Do I create my own anxiety?” If you have not had that thought, how real are you being with yourself? If you have had that thought, you are not alone. My blogging is designed to help those out there, especially women be real to be real with themselves, to think/examine themselves, and to come to the realization that we are not alone. This blog is meant for ENCOURAGEMENT and the nudging for SPIRITUAL GROWTH. Now of course, my blogs come with scripture. I wouldn’t being doing you, me, or anyone any justice if I didn’t. So, let’s start with this one: “Do not be anxious about anything–but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.“-Philippians 4:6

We are believers and devoted children of the most high right? So WHY do we struggle to obey Philippians 4:6? We are anxious when it comes to our education, family, children, marriage, health, you name it! Let me be real. I am one who honestly STRUGGLES with anxiety. I have gotten so much better in some areas but the anxiety has remained. Why is that? Let me tell you. In all honesty, WE CAUSE OUR OWN ANXIETY by the things and thoughts we put into our minds and the things that we speak. The word of God tells us “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendableif there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praisedwell on these things.”-Philippians 4:8 Isn’t it funny how these words come after the Lord telling us not to be anxious about anything? It took me a long time to realize that I cause my own anxiety and it is because of what I am meditating on? Ask yourself what are you meditating on? Instead of feeling our minds with and focusing on how people act towards us, what people say to us, what bills we have, if we are good wives, if we are good mothers, if we are good children to our parents, if we are worth anything, what people think of us, if we are good employees, what if you are sick, if we are doing enough, how are we going to get certain things done, and the list can go on and on for ANYBODY. The bottom line is those are NOT THE THINGS that we should be focusing on. Whatever concerns and worries we have, we are instructed to take them to God. Unfortunately, we do not always do that, or we do it but then pick it back up instead of leaving it there. I am at the point in my life where I am choosing to focus on WHO GOD IS, His LOVE, His GRACE, His WORD, my loveable and loving son, my husband and the good things he does and says, the career God has blessed me with, the home and family God has blessed me with, the transportation I have to get to my place of employment, the food God provides, I HAVE A LIST. Focus on the things that you know you do correctly and with a pure heart. Do not focus on your shortcomings. Focus on what you have accomplished, YES even the smallest things like completing your laundry for the day. Choose to meditate on the positive impact you make on the lives of others, because believe it or not you ARE making an impact. As a mother, wife, daughter, son, sibling, teacher, advocate (whatever your career entails), you ARE making an impact. Choose. I choose to meditate on those things that are worthy of praise, the lovely things, the pure things, the commendable things. I am choosing to speak life over my life (Proverbs 18:21). You have to decide what you will choose to do. Will you speak life or death? Will you meditate on the negative or the positive? Will you fill your mind with the things and love of God or the cares of life? Whatever choice you make, there is fruit that follows. Be Blessed!

Reconciliation

Reconciliation

Who ever heard of forgiveness and starting over? Who ever heard of mending relationships (friendships, dating, engaged couples, married couples, family, Coworkers)? I have…so let me raise my hand. Do we really have to do this? Do we have a choice? We all have choices to make in life. For those of us who call ourselves believers…reconciliation is a ministry that the Lord gave us. He also reconciled us back to him! Don’t believe me? Check it out: 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 says this, “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.” Thats the ESV version. Sometimes I read the word in different versions to make sure Im understanding! Even though what I stated was clear, here is another version (GW Translation). “God has done all this. He has restored our relationship with Him through Christ, and has given us this ministry of restoring relationships. In other words, God was using Christ to restore His relationship with humanity. He didn’t hold people’s faults against them, and He has given us this message of restored relationships to tell others.” How hard can that be right? HARD! Is your relationship with your parents broken? RESTORE IT. What about my marriage? RESTORE IT. My friendship? RESTORE IT. I get it, I get it..they hurt you. I have been hurt too. I have been hurt in all areas and so bad my FLESH did not want to restore…but because of my faith and relationship with the Lord…I made the choice to restore. I want to make sure we really get the definition of reconciliation. The dictionary definition says that reconciliation means “the act of coming to an understanding and putting an end to hostility, as when former enemies agree to an amicable truce.” So what that means is, Bianca had to come to the understanding that people are human who are going to make mistakes, and sometimes act up in flesh because they are not GOD. HUMANITY is flawed, but God is not. Knowing that makes it easier to forgive and reconcile, ESPECIALLY IN MARRIAGE (for those who are married). Bianca had to decide to put an end to the hostility. You can decide that as well. Let the spirit lead you. You will know when it’s time. In in the meantime, continue to work on yourself and work daily to become a better you. I know I am. I don’t do it for me because its not about me. Its about God and what He wants. Obedience will always be better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22). Think. Meditate. Decide.

Not Exempt

Not Exempt

Hey yall! I am back for another post that was put into my spirit for others (and me as well).

Have you ever felt like just because you were saved that you were exempt from the world’s troubles and foolishness? You guys know what I mean by the world’s troubles and foolishness: heartbreaks, being hurt by others physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, etc. Its not even all about people hurting you. Going through trials and tribulations because you are a believer counts as well. Grieving because someone close to you has died, losing your home, being robbed, women being attacked, men being attacked, kidnappings, getting sick with illness and all other sorts of things have happened to believers. I know a lot of believers who felt like they were exempt from troubles just because they are believers. Can I be honest? I used to think the same thing. I have heard believers say, “That would never happen to me because I’m a believer.” Can I just say…….THATS A BOLD STATEMENT TO MAKE. Just because you are a believer, that does NOT mean that you wont go through life’s challenges. Having that mindset is a set up for a mental breakdown. There is a difference between TRUSTING that God would not allow certain things to happen to you because you believe in Him and have that relationship versus saying, “That would never happen to me.” We got to be careful of what we say. Every day we wake up is a blessing. Every day that passes where nothing happen to us is a blessing. We thank God for keeping us. We are called to trust God, not have a conceited mindset. Believers go through it too just like the world. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE is in how we handle our troubles and trials. God gives us the strength to endure, but on HIS strength NOT our own. Our situations are teaching moments. We are supposed to learn from it. We are supposed to say, “Okay God, what are you trying to teach me in this situation?” Let’s look at scripture.

“Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. He doesn’t grow tired or weary. His understanding is beyond human reach, giving power to the tired and reviving the exhausted. Youths will become tired and weary, young men will certainly stumble; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength; they will fly up on wings like eagles; they will run and not be tired; they will walk and not be weary.”- Isaiah 40:28-31 Here we are being told that God doesn’t get tired and that he gives power to the tired and revives the exhausted. Our strength will be renewed! Lets look at another:

“The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts him. I was helped, my heart rejoiced, and I thank him with my song. The LORD is his people’s strength; he is a fortress of protection for his anointed one.”- Psalms 28:7-8 Our strength comes from the Lord!

Here is one of my favorites: “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” – Ephesians 6:10

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Saying you trust God and rely on His strength WILL BE TESTED. Your situations WILL TEST YOUR FAITH AND PATIENCE. WILL WE PASS THE TEST? “My brothers and sisters, think of the various tests you encounter as occasions for joy. After all, you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let this endurance complete its work so that you may be fully mature, complete, and lacking in nothing.” -James 1:2-4

Our situations will teach us, train us, and mature us! So….we will NEVER. be exempt!

Be Reminded

Be Reminded

How often do you forget that God has blessed you and chosen you? How many times have you felt like you were over looked or rejected? How many times has the enemy gotten in your ear about who you are? If any of your answers were ” sometimes, often, too many times, or a lot of times; then this blog is for you! Can I be honest with you? This blog is for me too!

It has been 7 years since my last blog. 7 years! You know what the number 7 represents in the bible? It represents the completeness or fullness. I have come full circle now. In these 7 years, I have felt rejected, forgotten about, talked about, left behind, tolerated, less than, and so many other things. I have felt so many emotions from sadness to hopelessness. I tried to encourage myself multiple times, but it just seemed like I could not get up. My life was spiraling out of control spiritually and naturally, I just could not keep up. It felt like everyone INCLUDING God constantly overlooked me. I found myself asking God, “When will it be my turn? When will people notice my heart and treat me right? Why do these things keep happening? When will I be a wife and mother?” I felt the need to control and get in the way of what GOD had planned for me. I acted like I could solve all my problems by myself. You know what that led to? NOTHING BUT DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY. I know that I am not the only one that has felt that way man or woman. I know now that I have not been alone this whole time. Did I stay down? YES FOR A SEASON….but I realized in the last 3 weeks that God has not forgotten about me when I thought he had. I learned that sometimes God will uproot you and place you EXACTLY where you need to be in HIS timing and not my own.

Today, I was watching a sermon by Heather Lindsey titled, “Are You Feeling Weary?” As I was watching, I realized that I have been Jonah for these last 7 years. The things that God has been putting in my heart, what He has been telling me to do; I have been disobedient. I was running from God because of all the rejection I felt and internalized. If you are not familiar with the story of Jonah in the bible, God gave him an assignment that he decided to run from. In a nutshell, instead of doing what God told him to do, he chose to be disobedient. He was disobedient to the point that he ended up in the belly of a whale for 3 days until he decided to finally stop running. Heather Lindsey said in her sermon that you can affect the lives of other people when you are in disobedience and out of position. Over the years I have constantly been disobedient and I constantly ran. I am a writer, an exhorter, and a minister’s wife all of which I pray AGAINST and ran from for years can you believe that? I can. The enemy is crafty isn’t he? Your mindset and thoughts can stand in your way if you don’t renew your mind.

God has been reminding me DAILY of WHO I AM IN HIM, how he blessed me and chose me for such a time as this. I am here to remind you today. It will NEVER be about what other people say or the enemy. It will ALWAYS be about what God says about you. GOD SAYS, you are chosen and blessed!! Don’t believe me? Let’s take a look:

“As holy people whom God has chosen and loved, be sympathetic, kind, humble, gentle, and patient.”-Colossians 3:12

“You are a holy people, who belong to the Lord your God. He chose you to be His own special possession out of all the nations on earth.”- Deuteronomy 7:6

“Taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the person who takes refuge in Him.” Psalm 34:8.

Choose to believe what God says about you! YOU ARE BLESSED AND CHOSEN.

Living in This Present World

Living in This Present World

Hey guys! Thank you for visiting today! Let me share with you why I titled this blog “Living in This Present World”. I want to first start with Titus 2:11-15 which states “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.” It can be difficult living in this world as a believer when you have everything around you to tempt you to fall. There are others out there who sometimes feel like they are missing out on all the fun and entertainment that the world enjoys. Let me tell you something THAT USED TO BE ME. Do you know what happens when you start to think about the world and what you are missing? YOU BEGIN TO COMPROMISE! AND COMPROMISING IS A BIG NO NO. As the scripture says, OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE (1 Samuel 15:22). If you start to feel that way you need to pray and REPENT for those thoughts that you KNOW are not godly. Don’t you know that being connected to and friends with the world makes you an ENEMY OF GOD (James 4:4)? Trust when I tell you ITS NOT WORTH IT. People will try to make you feel like you are being dramatic, too religious, ridiculous, holier than thou, and all sorts of things….but guess what LET THEM TRY. We are here to do Gods will and demonstrate His kingdom in the earth. It all starts with Matthew 6:33 “But seek he first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” THAT IS THE MANDATE FOR EVERY BELIEVER. Any part of this world can pull you away from the things of God when he clearly gave the believers an assignment. Jesus first message when he began to preach was REPENT! THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND (Matthew 4:17). This is the same message we ought to be giving and saying to others. We are supposed to be presenting the Gospel of Jesus (His death, burial, and resurrection). We are supposed to be winning souls into the kingdom of God, preaching the kingdom of God, healing the sick and raising the dead, casting out demons (Matthew 10:7-8, Luke 9:1-2, Luke 10:9-11, Mark 3:14-15, Mark 16:17-18). We are supposed to be getting people to change their mindset and life around to go towards JESUS (repentance). Our focus is not the world and what they are doing, how they act, what they say, what they do, how they treat us, how they talk about us, mock us, laugh at us, ridicule us, shun us, hate on us, and so forth the list can go on and on. That’s going to happen. There are going to be people who don’t even want to hear you, listen to you, or even receive you! Some people will be looking for messages that appeal to them and want they want their desires. OH WELL! SHAKE THE DUST OFF AND KEEP IT MOVING TO THE NEXT SOUL. The scriptures that go with what I just said are here:
2 Timothy 3:1-5 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

2 Timothy 4:2-5 “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”

Matthew 10:14 “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.”

Mark 6:11-13 “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. And they went out, and preached that men should repent. And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.”

Luke 9:5-6 “And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.”

We are on an assignment people…..we don’t have time to act like Jesus is not returning. Let us do what we are called to do! Let us be doers of the word and not just hearers! We are not like everyone else we are PECULIAR (1 Peter 2:9, James 1:22)

It costs to walk with God, a lot of us don’t really understand all that it takes….but once you make that decision DO NOT LOOK BACK. IF you look back you are not fit for the Kingdom…. (Luke 9:62)
LET US DESIRE TO KNOW GOD, THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION, AND THE FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SUFFERINGS (PHILLIPIANS 3:10)

WE DON’T HAVE TIME TO LIVE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN THIS PRESENT WORLD! JESUS IS COMING BACK SOON AND WE HAVE WORK TO DO. LET US DO IT!

Rekindled Fire

Rekindled Fire

Hey everyone! It has been a LONG TIME since I have been here. It has been 5 whole years since my last poem/blog. I asked myself “what happened?”, “why did I stop writing?”, “why did I wait so long to come back?” Well folks! Guess what? Life happens! At that time…life was REALLY happening to me. Can I be open and honest with you? I went through my phases of being mad at God for everything I had been through, all the mistakes I had made, and other things. I went through my phases of feeling ashamed and down about the decisions I had made during those five years and thought to myself “God don’t want to hear from me. Nobody will want to read my blogs or listen to me because of the decisions I made.” I became silent…I allowed the enemy in to warp my thinking. As time passed I realized “WAIT A MINUTE! IM GIVING THE ENEMY VICTORY OVER ME WHEN THE BATTLE HAS ALREADY BEEN WON!” I prayed to the Lord and thanked him for opening my eyes to SEE…REALLY SEE….i realized…I struggled because I did not have enough word on my situations and circumstances. I kept falling because I didn’t understand His love and grace for me. I began to confess all the scriptures I knew to get myself together. Here is the first one: Isaiah 53:5 “But he was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds.” This was a scripture I prayed and confessed consistently!
Let’s look at some more word that helped me “shape up”:

Matthew 4:4 He answered, “It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” What does this mean? I WILL TELL YOU. It means that we are to stand on EVERY SINGLE WORD that God gives and says because it helps us to live in this present world with all that is going on.

James 1:8 “A person who has doubts is thinking about two different things at the same time and can’t make up his mind about anything.” The King James Version says it this way “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.” I made up in my mind that I did not want to be double minded in anything that I think or do…matter of fact I didn’t want to be double-minded in any way shape or form. God made it simple for me : “Either your going to serve me or your not.” Uh oh! We cannot play both sides! You know what that is called? BEING LUKEWARM…..What does God say to those who are lukewarm? Revelation 3:16 “But since you are lukewarm and not hot or cold, I’m going to spit you out of my mouth.” Woah! You think that is what God wants? No! So lets back up…. Revelation 3:15 “I know what you have done, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot.” God wishes that we would all just choose a side either we are going to be hot and serve him with fire! Or we are going to walk away and stay with the world and be cold. I don’t choose to be cold but hot and on fire for the Lord!

This brings me to the last part of this post…….we have no one to blame for our fallen away but ourselves. The enemy does not have power over you unless you allow it (Ephesians 4:27)! Your sin does not control you unless you allow it (Romans 6:14)! We draw ourselves away by our own desires and lust, its not God’s fault, and one thing is for sure WE CAN ENDURE (James 1:12-15). God gives us a mandate (an order) and that is to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteous KNOWING that everything is going to fall into place (Matthew 6:33).

I wrote this today to let you guys know THE FIRE IS BACK IN FULL EFFECT. Souls need saving, people need love and encouragement, people need to hear the word of the Lord, the Kingdom of God and will of God needs to be known and demonstrated through the body of Christ for the world to see and grab ahold of….

I am here to help you and others around (including myself). I have work to do! As the scripture says! Ephesians 4:29 “Don’t say anything that would hurt another person. Instead, speak only what is good so that you can give help wherever it is needed. That way, what you say will help those who hear you.”

I PRAY THIS BLESSES EVERYONE WHO READS THIS!

Who Will Cry For Jesus???

Who Will Cry For Jesus???

He took beatings without mercy to suffer for us.

Unable to recognize Him, broken down, and on His back so we could have a BETTER life.

There were no hatred or strife, so I ask..

Who will cry for Jesus?

His skin was torn and pierced in which they laughed.

The pain he felt to take on the sins of this world.

Again beaten, unrecognizable and on His back.

He did it to SAVE our life.

No hatred, no strife, but only a knife that pierced His side.

So I ask…..

Who will cry for Jesus?

The people cursed Him, laughed at Him, hated Him, refused to believe on Him and never planned to.

They threatened Him, warned Him, tried to kill Him.

And they did, because He let them.

He gave His OWN life, no hatred or strife..and now,

We have LIFE.

LAST TIME….

Who will cry for Jesus?

The man who made the biggest sacrifice.

The man who took on death, and gave His last breath.

The man who set the way for us all.

The man who would NEVER let His people fall.

So let me answer…

We will cry for Jesus.

Cry for Him, to Him, over Him, make it all about Him.

We will follow Him, praise Him, worship Him, love Him, glorify Him, and LIVE for Him.

Us. The believers, His body, because I know everyone do not want this life.

but Our life? This is our life. The life thats not our own but His.

So our hearts will cry for Him, and our mouths will open to cry His name for Him.

We will be that light, and that light shall never darken.

We cry of Joy. Because the Lords joy is our joy.

Just as His word says,

The Earth is the Lord’s and the fulness there of.

That is Victory. Victory is what we cry.

Victory is what we cry because when he died…we also did die.

We died to sin….So let us cry….

To die is gain. We put on Christ.

That is Victory. Victory is what we cry.

We cry for Jesus.

“God Can”

“God Can”

The pain that can be taken away

“God can” press his hand against ours

The love we need when we’ve gone astray

“God can” give it and not let it sour

When we dont want to turn back

“God can” guard us with His power

When Christians behave like their minds are not intact

“God can” renew it and we keep climbing that tower

Pressing toward that mark

“God can keep us going

But if we refuse to listen to Him, then whats the point of knowing because

“God can” and will have a people.

This was not a poem to impress this was a poem to tell you what God can do…and he can do more than that!

Holy Seeds Set Free

Holy Seeds Set Free

What does it mean to be Holy before Thee? Humbled and on fire for the Lord you see. Saved, born again, and alive, the Lord within me. Righteous and of faith like we’re supposed to be.

We are a family so close together like white on rice. This deed was done by our faithful Lord Jesus Christ. We continue to follow him and do not ask why, because the life we once had did make us cry.

We have been made whole and do appear blameless. No spots, blemishes, completely stainless. This is what he requires, what he wants for us. We do his will without grudge or fuss.

We are unto a seed incorruptible we know. That is why we stay away from things from long ago. We speak new life and flee from the past. We have a new journey now and this one will last.

Be Holy as our God is Holy. We got to do what we are told. We follow in his footsteps so that our blessings cease to fold.

We had to change our lives and change it completely. We are kept by the power of God and we say “until He comes to meet me”

The body of Christ I believe will be ready. We live one day at a time and we keep it steady. We know we have no more moments at least none to waste, and because God loved us he gave a great chase.

Our life is no longer our own. We gave our God the key. Throughout this life and even after it. We will always remain free.

Inspired by the book of 1st Peter
