Who Will Cry For Jesus???

Who Will Cry For Jesus???

He took beatings without mercy to suffer for us.

Unable to recognize Him, broken down, and on His back so we could have a BETTER life.

There were no hatred or strife, so I ask..

Who will cry for Jesus?

His skin was torn and pierced in which they laughed.

The pain he felt to take on the sins of this world.

Again beaten, unrecognizable and on His back.

He did it to SAVE our life.

No hatred, no strife, but only a knife that pierced His side.

So I ask…..

Who will cry for Jesus?

The people cursed Him, laughed at Him, hated Him, refused to believe on Him and never planned to.

They threatened Him, warned Him, tried to kill Him.

And they did, because He let them.

He gave His OWN life, no hatred or strife..and now,

We have LIFE.

LAST TIME….

Who will cry for Jesus?

The man who made the biggest sacrifice.

The man who took on death, and gave His last breath.

The man who set the way for us all.

The man who would NEVER let His people fall.

So let me answer…

We will cry for Jesus.

Cry for Him, to Him, over Him, make it all about Him.

We will follow Him, praise Him, worship Him, love Him, glorify Him, and LIVE for Him.

Us. The believers, His body, because I know everyone do not want this life.

but Our life? This is our life. The life thats not our own but His.

So our hearts will cry for Him, and our mouths will open to cry His name for Him.

We will be that light, and that light shall never darken.

We cry of Joy. Because the Lords joy is our joy.

Just as His word says,

The Earth is the Lord’s and the fulness there of.

That is Victory. Victory is what we cry.

Victory is what we cry because when he died…we also did die.

We died to sin….So let us cry….

To die is gain. We put on Christ.

That is Victory. Victory is what we cry.

We cry for Jesus.

“God Can”

“God Can”

The pain that can be taken away

“God can” press his hand against ours

The love we need when we’ve gone astray

“God can” give it and not let it sour

When we dont want to turn back

“God can” guard us with His power

When Christians behave like their minds are not intact

“God can” renew it and we keep climbing that tower

Pressing toward that mark

“God can keep us going

But if we refuse to listen to Him, then whats the point of knowing because

“God can” and will have a people.

This was not a poem to impress this was a poem to tell you what God can do…and he can do more than that!

Holy Seeds Set Free

Holy Seeds Set Free

What does it mean to be Holy before Thee? Humbled and on fire for the Lord you see. Saved, born again, and alive, the Lord within me. Righteous and of faith like we’re supposed to be.

We are a family so close together like white on rice. This deed was done by our faithful Lord Jesus Christ. We continue to follow him and do not ask why, because the life we once had did make us cry.

We have been made whole and do appear blameless. No spots, blemishes, completely stainless. This is what he requires, what he wants for us. We do his will without grudge or fuss.

We are unto a seed incorruptible we know. That is why we stay away from things from long ago. We speak new life and flee from the past. We have a new journey now and this one will last.

Be Holy as our God is Holy. We got to do what we are told. We follow in his footsteps so that our blessings cease to fold.

We had to change our lives and change it completely. We are kept by the power of God and we say “until He comes to meet me”

The body of Christ I believe will be ready. We live one day at a time and we keep it steady. We know we have no more moments at least none to waste, and because God loved us he gave a great chase.

Our life is no longer our own. We gave our God the key. Throughout this life and even after it. We will always remain free.

Fear Sees Faith Coming By Jill Briscoe

Fear Sees Faith Coming By Jill Briscoe

When fear sees faith a-coming, when doubt sees truth displayed,
The truth that is in Jesus how can we be dismayed?
When tears are wept in secret, when sorrow’s night descends,
Then faith in Jesus’ power our sorry soul defends.

When we are busy drowning in a sea of sad despair,
When those we love have hurt us and our soul needs God’s repair,
When loneliness o’er-whelms us with an ache that none can touch,
And we’re crushed with disappointments and life is just too much.

When danger threatens loved ones, when death stalks near to home,
When war shall rise against us, when panic’s on the throne,
Remind us of your promises, renew our hearts in grace,
And help us live in righteousness and truth before your face.

So Jesus be our comfort and remind us in your Word,
That our small voice in the tempest incredibly is heard,
In the heaven you inhabit, in the love land where you live,
And you travel through the universe, your peace to us to give!

So we wait now in this stillness that garrisons our soul,
Yes, we wait with hands uplifted till you come and make us whole,
So when faith sees fear a-coming to fill our hearts with dread,
Oh Lord Jesus great and mighty, will you please kill fear dead!

Down In My Life by Jill Briscoe

Down In My Life by Jill Briscoe

Down in my life where it’s restless and wild,

Down in my life where the adult’s a child,

Down in my fears and worries and care

Suddenly Jesus is there.

Touching my heart strings He sings me a song,

Quiets the child till she’s steady and strong,

Banishes worries – just smiles them away

Turning my night into day.

Down in my life where the troubles run deep,

Down in my life when I can’t get to sleep,

Down in my life when life isn’t fair,

Suddenly Jesus is there.

Rebuking the turmoil; He sends it away,

Gives peace in the panic and helps me to pray,

Turns sorrow to praising, surprises my pain,

And bids me to face life again.

Down in my life where I’m lonely and old,

Deep in my heart when my spirit is cold,

Down in my life when I don’t know what’s best

Suddenly Jesus gives rest.

“Gift doesn’t age” He remarks with a smile,

“I’ll set your soul dancing and make life worthwhile,

I’ll guide you in righteousness: wisdom’s delight:

And nerve your faint heart for the fight.”

He stands in my shadows and the light on His face

Reflects all His love and His mercy and grace

Right down in my life where nobody goes:

Deep in “this” heart the Lord knows.

Down in my life where it’s restless and wild,

Down in my life where the adult’s a child,

Down in my soul I’m acutely aware

Suddenly Jesus is there!

Changes

Changes

Here she stands, my mother for 22 years. As I look at her, I sense that someone has wound the clock.Years have become increments. History has a beginning and an end. Then mothers arms wrap me in warmth, and I am home. A 22 yea-old child reassured by her mother’s touch. There is no time in touch. I am pulled into timelessness. Our laughter drowns out the clock. There is no time in laughter.

For a moment I forget ticking clocks. I am held together by things that do not change–a mothers early morning welcome, freshly cooked meals, laughter, and love. I am held together by a God who does not change. I know the God of time who is yet above time. A rare glimpse of the divine.
